Lorac PRO palette 2: review and swatches

Good morning beauties!
We’re back for another eyeshadow palette review. I might admittedly have a problem with eyeshadows, but on my side I do use eyeshadow pretty much every day, so I’m excused right? Today I’d like to show you the new LORAC PRO Palette 2. Small disclaimer: I’m in love and this is a picture heavy post!

This beauty is the last launch from Lorac and is the cool sister of my favorite palette ever (check that one out here). It contains all those cool tone colors that will be perfect now that autumn is knocking at the door (quite insistently if I must say). On the top row you can see 8 beautiful matte shadows ranging from a cream to medium transition shades (Lt. Brown, Cool Grey and Nectar) to dark smokey shades (Plum, Navy, Charcoal) and a black. The most impressive of them all has to be the Navy blue, so dark and so buttery, just keep an eye out for the fall out! The bottom row instead is all shimmers and I love the fact that they’re light to medium colors since it’s the ones I use the most, and shall we talk about that green? Stunning!!
The quality of the shadow is absolutely spot on. They are buttery and super pigmented as you can see from the swatches. This comes with a bit of fall out but it is more in the pans that on the eyes so it doesn’t bother  me at all. The lighter mattes blend flawlessly whereas you need to be a bit more thorough for the darker mattes, but I have never found dark colors that are actually foolproof to blend. The shimmers are just perfection in an eyeshadow and I cannot find a fault in them!
Lorac Pro 1 and 2 side by side
Compared to the first Lorac Pro palette you can see that we find again neutrals and a few more out-there colors, but in the Pro 2 we find more matte colors and shimmery neutrals, while in the Pro 1 it’s the other way around.
With these two palettes together you can create absolutely any look you want, from day to night, from natural to smokey, with neutrals or colors, warm to dark toned. Just amazing! In a following post I’ll show you a few looks you can create with this palette.
You can find it on Amazon US for 42$. A great palette, I definitely recommend it!
Have you tried any Lorac Pro palette?
