Single pan pressed eyeshadows are my weakness, I collect them, I love them. Now that I’ve said that, you won’t be surprised that I’m coming to you with a review and swatches of the new Colourpop pressed shadows. Colourpop launched over 30 new pressed eyeshadows in January promoting it as their biggest launch yet. I picked up quite a few in the meantime and have been using them non stop, so here I thought it was about time to talk to you about them.
Woohoo we made it to the third and last post on the Makeup Geek lipsticks. If you missed them, part 1 on the Makeup Geek Iconic lipsticks is here, and part 2 on the Plush Cremes is here. This time we’re talking of their matte liquid lipsticks: take a look at these Makeup Geek Plush Matte swatches.
Here we go with part 2 of the swatches of the Makeup Geek lip products I own. In part one (here) we looked at the Iconic lipsticks, and today I am showing you one of their two liquid lipstick formulas. So let’s take a look at the Makeup Geek Plush Creme swatches.
Welcome back to the blog! I am running behind on my accompanying blog posts for the videos that are going up twice a week on my Youtube channel, but here is the first of a trio. In my latest video I swatched and reviewed all 15 lipsticks that Makeup Geek so kindly sent me but since there are three different types of lipsticks, I will be going through them in three different posts. Today we are taking a look at some Makeup Geek Iconic Lipstick swatches.
After months of resistance convincing myself that I didn’t need it, I caved and bought the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette with the sale at Ulta. I have used it for a bit now and though I am blown away by the quality of it, I decided to go through my Makeup Geek eyeshadow collection (read more here) because I had a feeling I already owned similar shades. So here is my review of the palette and some Makeup Geek Modern Renaissance dupes.
After the great success of the Autumn Glow bundle, Makeup Geek released a new discounted eyeshadow bundle for the holiday season 2016. The Makeup Geek Holiday Bundle is a great selection of 9 shades, 6 matte and 3 foiled, perfect for the holiday season. In this video I swatch the shades, give you my opinion and show you two easy makeup looks you can do with these Makeup Geek eyeshadows.
Last week I presented the new Makeup Geek eyeshadow releases in this overview post here, and showing you all the foiled shadows swatches and comparisons here. Now it’s time to look at the new Makeup Geek Signature eyeshadows for Fall 2016. There are a total of 9 new eyeshadows of which 7 are matte and 2 are shimmery. All nine new eyeshadows are neutral colors ranging from cool, to warm tones, to orange. I swatched the new shades next to other similar shadows in my collection both from Makeup Geek and other brands. I apologize for the goosebumps in the photos, Fall is here, and I hadn’t turned on the heating yet, brr.
I recently gave you a first look into the new Makeup Geek eyeshadows that launched for Fall 2016 in this post here. Since there are a total of 18 new shades, I decided to show you the comparisons in two separate posts. Let’s start with the new Makeup Geek foiled eyeshadows.
Rather than a specific Fall-themed collection, this is an expansion of the current foiled eyeshadow line. All the new Makeup Geek foiled eyeshadow shades are unique and different from anything existent from the brand. Nevertheless, I think a comparison of each shade with similar ones in my collection could help you get an idea whether you need them or not. A small sad note is that my collection is quite a bit smaller after moving overseas, but I hope you get a good idea of the shades.
After a few hiccups in course of production, the new Makeup Geek eyeshadows for Fall 2016 are here! If you’ve been following me for a while, you must know I’m a Makeup Geek addict, so I was absolutely over the moon when they contacted me to try out their new signature and foiled eyeshadows releasing for Fall 2016. With 9 banging foiled shadows and 9 smooth neutral shades, this collection has something for everyone.
It is no secret that Makeup Geek is my favorite eyeshadow brand, si it will come as now shock that there is another update post. Beauty Bay had a big sale some time ago and I picked up some more shadows on the way. I was initially quite weary of the foiled eyeshadows because of the rumors that they creased, but I finally was won over by the incredible pigmentation and color payoff so I have quite a few of them here. As usual I will give the official description and a mini review for every shade. If you want to see all my other Makeup geek eyeshadows, check out the previous posts here and here.
