Second week of July, like clockwork, Nabla released their Summer 2017 collection and we all went crazy for it. After all the heat from the winter Goldust collection, this summer release is all mermaids, unicorns and cool tones. In this post I share my thoughts on the collection as well as swatch comparisons of all the bits I purchased. Here’s Nabla Freedomination swatches and review.
Freedomination is a poem you wrote and which you are hearing for the first time
While the Earth slowly keeps on spinning
Listen to the sounds of your own freedom
The Morphe x Jaclyn Hill has been one of the most anticipated releases of this summer and I was online on the hour purchasing it because it just spoke to me. As I mentioned in my video, I am not a big Morphe fan, but I find Jaclyn Hill’s taste in shadows very close to mine. However, i do understand not everyone can or wants to purchase from Morphe. So here are my Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette dupes and review for you guys. Also remember: restock is July 18th at 8 am PST.
Popsicle stained lips are the upcoming trend for the summer and Colourpop decided to propose their own version. I bought five of the eight shades available and today I want to share with you my Colourpop Ultra Blotted Lips swatches and more importantly my review.
That I’m a single eyeshadow collector doesn’t come to a surprise with all the recent posts on swatches and comparisons (here and here). So when an indie brand that sells single eyeshadow pans got onto my radar, it was just a matter of time before I placed an order. I found out about Devinah Cosmetics at the end of last year thanks to the lovely girls of Beguiles and Dolls on Instagram, and purchased my first highlighters from them during the Black Friday sale (here). I was trying to be strong and not buy any more eyeshadows, but I finally caved during a recent restock and here are some Devinah Cosmetics eyeshadow swatches.
First day of Spring and I’m ready to switch gears, welcome the sun back in my life ans start wearing corals and peaches. The weather isn’t collaborating but I have some fun new Spring makeup to play with! Let’s welcome the Colourpop Nectar collection to the family!
Single pan pressed eyeshadows are my weakness, I collect them, I love them. Now that I’ve said that, you won’t be surprised that I’m coming to you with a review and swatches of the new Colourpop pressed shadows. Colourpop launched over 30 new pressed eyeshadows in January promoting it as their biggest launch yet. I picked up quite a few in the meantime and have been using them non stop, so here I thought it was about time to talk to you about them.
Woohoo we made it to the third and last post on the Makeup Geek lipsticks. If you missed them, part 1 on the Makeup Geek Iconic lipsticks is here, and part 2 on the Plush Cremes is here. This time we’re talking of their matte liquid lipsticks: take a look at these Makeup Geek Plush Matte swatches.
