Just a few days ago the beauty community got taken aback by the surprise sneak peek of the new Urban Decay Naked Heat palette, the fifth in the Naked palette family, characterized by gorgeous and very trendy warm toned shades. I was totally prey of this surprise sneak peek and the moment I saw the promotional image, I wanted it right away. Warm colors are my jam, just take a look at my Instagram feed. Reviews and swatches started coming out by bloggers and youtubers I trust and I started being less enthusiastic about this new Naked Heat palette, so here is a product-specific antihaul, as well my Urban Decay Naked Heat dupes.
Another month, another Glossybox to open! I got my first one in February (read all about it here) and was really excited to find a new box in my mail box this month. I can’t thank the team at GlossyBox enough. March 8th was International Women’s Day and GlossyBox chose Woman Crush to be the theme for the March Glossybox. Let’s take a look inside Glossybox March 2017.
Single pan pressed eyeshadows are my weakness, I collect them, I love them. Now that I’ve said that, you won’t be surprised that I’m coming to you with a review and swatches of the new Colourpop pressed shadows. Colourpop launched over 30 new pressed eyeshadows in January promoting it as their biggest launch yet. I picked up quite a few in the meantime and have been using them non stop, so here I thought it was about time to talk to you about them.
Here we go with part 2 of the swatches of the Makeup Geek lip products I own. In part one (here) we looked at the Iconic lipsticks, and today I am showing you one of their two liquid lipstick formulas. So let’s take a look at the Makeup Geek Plush Creme swatches.
Welcome back to the blog! I am running behind on my accompanying blog posts for the videos that are going up twice a week on my Youtube channel, but here is the first of a trio. In my latest video I swatched and reviewed all 15 lipsticks that Makeup Geek so kindly sent me but since there are three different types of lipsticks, I will be going through them in three different posts. Today we are taking a look at some Makeup Geek Iconic Lipstick swatches.
Since you liked the Anti Hauls so far, I thought I’d do the opposite video and share with your the makeup I would buy if I had an infinite makeup budget! I called it the Fantasy haul, kind of like fantasy football, and this is a special Valentine’s Day gift guide edition.
In 2016 I tried the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, and it earned it spot all the way in my 2016 makeup favorites. Naturally, the Real Techniques Miracle Sponge Set was impossible to resist. So in this post I’ll tell you some considerations and a review of the set, but check out the video for a full demo of these sponges and multiple ways to use them.
Working from home, I mostly to my makeup for fun, to film, to post and to go out. This means that I’m either bare faced or I’m in full glam by lunch time just to go to the grocery store hahaha. Well I saw this tag on Youtube called Instagram vs Real Life Makeup and I thought it was a good way to remind myself and you guys how different Instagram makeup is from every day real life one.
I’m not one to wear a lot of red lipstick, EXCEPT in December. Holiday season is THE season for red lips in my opinion. In this video I show you my Top 5 Red Lipsticks for the holidays with live swatches and mini reviews for each one.
The holidays are upon us (yes, I like to use this phrase a lot) and red lips are a must for this season. One of the trends that has taken the internet by storm is glitter lips, introduced by Pat McGrath on the Versace runway some months ago. She even released her glitter lip kits, but you don’t have to spend $60 to achieve the look. In this tutorial I show you three ways to create red glitter lips using makeup products that are affordable and already part of your collection.
