First day of Spring and I’m ready to switch gears, welcome the sun back in my life ans start wearing corals and peaches. The weather isn’t collaborating but I have some fun new Spring makeup to play with! Let’s welcome the Colourpop Nectar collection to the family!
Single pan pressed eyeshadows are my weakness, I collect them, I love them. Now that I’ve said that, you won’t be surprised that I’m coming to you with a review and swatches of the new Colourpop pressed shadows. Colourpop launched over 30 new pressed eyeshadows in January promoting it as their biggest launch yet. I picked up quite a few in the meantime and have been using them non stop, so here I thought it was about time to talk to you about them.
Another Colourpop post? Yes please! Today is all about the Colourpop Valentine’s collection swatches, review and a quick tutorial on how to depot them.
Ah the day of love, pinkness and hearts. Valentine’s Day has never been a particularly important day for me but somehow every year the first two weeks of February are all about the pink makeup. I naturally tend towards plummy shades and this year I want to share a Kylie inspired Valentine’s Day makeup tutorial.
Since you liked the Anti Hauls so far, I thought I’d do the opposite video and share with your the makeup I would buy if I had an infinite makeup budget! I called it the Fantasy haul, kind of like fantasy football, and this is a special Valentine’s Day gift guide edition.
Working from home, I mostly to my makeup for fun, to film, to post and to go out. This means that I’m either bare faced or I’m in full glam by lunch time just to go to the grocery store hahaha. Well I saw this tag on Youtube called Instagram vs Real Life Makeup and I thought it was a good way to remind myself and you guys how different Instagram makeup is from every day real life one.
I had this plan of showing you my Colourpop collection in detail with swatches after I posted my collection video on Youtube (here), but that was last year (hihi pun intended). Oops. Better late than never though and after the post on the eyeshadows (here), now we are taking a look at my Colourpop highlighters.
We all know by now that I have a soft spot for metallic liquid lipsticks, so I couldn’t let the new Sugarpill Pumpkin Spice liquid lip color pass by me by. This is a limited edition shade released for the holidays 2016 in combination with its pressed eyeshadow counterpart. Sugarpill released the Pumpkin Spice eyeshadow shade last year in a limited batch and it had such a great success that they repeated it this year adding the liquid lipsticks as well.
Gold Gold Gold! I’ve had this post in mind for a long time, since a friend asked a comparison between different gold eyeshadows I had. I took pictures and they all sat in my laptop until I came across this video by the gorgeous Elsa of Like a Candy Shop. She shared all of her favorite peach-colored makeup and it pushed me to take out the idea from the drawer. Well good news is that instead of only my favorite gold makeup products, Elsa has agreed to collaborate and share her favorites as well.
I’m not one to wear a lot of red lipstick, EXCEPT in December. Holiday season is THE season for red lips in my opinion. In this video I show you my Top 5 Red Lipsticks for the holidays with live swatches and mini reviews for each one.
