After last episode’s look into some cozy Fall routines and recipes (here), Marta from Caffelatte for Breakfast has thrown a new challenge at us for the fifth episode of the #FallInLoveTAG2. This time we are exploring Fall Trends by taking inspiration from Pantone’s Fashion Color Report for Fall 2016 (here). When Marta told us to do a Pantone Fall Trends 2016 makeup look, I was of course attracted by the yellow, orange, red and green shades, that are my daily comfort zone. In fact, I just recently published a tutorial on a Thanksgiving makeup look using such colors (here). However, the prompt also said to challenge ourselves, so indecisive and challenged I was while creating this double faced makeup inspired by fall colors.
Welcome back to another episode of the #FallInLoveTAG2. If you missed episode 1 you can find it here, and if you want to join us, go check out the introduction post by Caffelatte For Breakfast here. The theme this time is Umbrella, your trusted friend on rainy fall days. Since this is a beauty blog, we will talk about those makeup products that are my trusted allies and I wear on a daily basis: this is my Fall daytime makeup routine.
The leaves are slowly changing colors and it is all an excuse to wear more orangey-red eye makeup looks. This time I decided to put together the Makeup Geek Autumn Glow palette with the eyeshadows I own and do a fall makeup tutorial for you guys on my YouTube channel. Here one the blog you can find more information.
Welcome back to another monthly episode of the Paciugopedia 3! If you’re new around here, in this series each month the participants reproduce makeup looks from other bloggers/makeup artists on their own eye shape, skin tone and with the products to them available. You find the other episodes here and can read the introduction from the creator of the series BeautyBats here.
Good morning beauties!! Welcome to October! I am so excited for the season change and being able to charge up makeup with darker colors that now I can wear during the day without having people turn around looking at me weird. Yay Fall!! Another small change I’m excited about for Fall is the color brown: quite common for me in makeup, but fashion?! In the colder months I’m a black on black with the occasional dark color here and there, but never brown. So I’m excited that I found some bits I love in brown that will go great with my beloved brown boots (I raved about them here), and this means I get to wear gold jewelry as well!
After an amazing sunny and warm weekend, the weather turned miserable here and I naturally went into “pre-fall” mode. This means long pants and darker colors for my outfit and a slightly darker smokey eye in the tones of brown and cool bronze.
The pants are the H&M Superstretch Pants (19.99€ here) in a beautiful petrol blue/green, they’re very stretchy and fit the figure tightly. The top is Intimissimi Vogatore (9€ here) in a burgundy/violet color that hides the fluffy parts but still leaves a good amount of skin out, after all it’s still summer (somewhere). I top that off with an old jeans blouse from H&M. I still cannot avoid some summery mint pops so I have these mint sneakers from Dockers I found in clearance at V&D (20 €, similar ones here) and on my nails the KIKO nail polish in Milk Mint (2.50 € here) which has been my summer favorite.
Some more love goes to the accessories, earrings and necklace are from revival London and I found them again on clearance in V&D (that was a great shopping trip indeed). I just can’t stop wearing this combo!
For makeup I did my usual base with the L’Oreal Eau de Teinte in 140 Pure beige, my Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 20 and the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to set it all. For some color in the complexion I used The Body Shop bronzing pearls and Catrice Defining Blush in 030 Love & Peach. On the eyes a base with the Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze and shadows from my beloved Lorac Pro palette. On the lips Rimmel Moisture Renew in Nottinghill Nude.
Do you also feel this pre-fall vibe in these rainy days? Thanks for passing by.
