Ah the day of love, pinkness and hearts. Valentine’s Day has never been a particularly important day for me but somehow every year the first two weeks of February are all about the pink makeup. I naturally tend towards plummy shades and this year I want to share a Kylie inspired Valentine’s Day makeup tutorial.
Welcome to a new mini series here on the blog: A Shifting Journey. This series wants to introduce the beauty and versatility of shifting micas and their applications. The first episode is dedicated to Travel to Earth.
We are talking Nabla Cosmetics Goldust collection again on this blog (see look 1 and look 2). This third look using the new holiday collection was a bit less spontaneous and more out of my comfort zone. The focus of the look is meant to be the gorgeous Nabla Dazzleliner Klimt, the only limited edition piece of the Goldust collection. This is such a unique gold liner with a very strong red undertone like I have never seen before. I understand when a lot of people tell me they don’t know whether they would ever use it, but to me it inspires richness and lines like nothing else. Can you tell I’m in love with this collection?
I don’t know what it is, but I have been feeling unusually inspired these days, both with my makeup and photos, and I think it is all because of the new Nabla Goldust collection. I mean, I even styled my hair for this look! I have been testing the collection out to write a review for you guys and posting some looks and first impressions on the go. You can read the first one here. Let’s get into Nabla Goldust collection look 2.
The second look in exploration of the new Nabla Cosmetics Goldust collection is dedicated to the eyeshadow Radikal. This super-matte army green seemed like the perfect companion to the other earthy shadows in the collection (as I tried to do here), but I wanted to show case it with its own shimmery brother Extravirgin and the connecting line of the collection, the gold eyeliner.
The new Nabla Cosmetics Goldust collection took the (Italian) makeup scene by surprise and boy as is a wonderful surprise! I have been drooling all over it since the press release (here). I purchased a part of the collection and will be reviewing and showing you swatches of all i got, but not here. To properly understand the products, I am testing them and want to share with you some looks I have created with the collection. You can take them as inspiration, or just to see how the products perform on the face. So let’s get into this Nabla Goldust colletction look 1 centered around the eyeshadow Ludwig.
Holiday season is upon us, and it’s the perfect excuse to go all out on glam makeup. Today’s video is a makeup tutorial on this purple and gold look for a holiday or New Year’s Eve party in collaboration with a fellow youtuber Rotem Beauty.
After last episode’s look into some cozy Fall routines and recipes (here), Marta from Caffelatte for Breakfast has thrown a new challenge at us for the fifth episode of the #FallInLoveTAG2. This time we are exploring Fall Trends by taking inspiration from Pantone’s Fashion Color Report for Fall 2016 (here). When Marta told us to do a Pantone Fall Trends 2016 makeup look, I was of course attracted by the yellow, orange, red and green shades, that are my daily comfort zone. In fact, I just recently published a tutorial on a Thanksgiving makeup look using such colors (here). However, the prompt also said to challenge ourselves, so indecisive and challenged I was while creating this double faced makeup inspired by fall colors.
Welcome back to another episode of the #FallInLoveTAG2. If you missed episode 1 you can find it here, and if you want to join us, go check out the introduction post by Caffelatte For Breakfast here. The theme this time is Umbrella, your trusted friend on rainy fall days. Since this is a beauty blog, we will talk about those makeup products that are my trusted allies and I wear on a daily basis: this is my Fall daytime makeup routine.
I just turned one year younger! ahahah, I wished. Friday was my birthday and I recorded myself getting ready for a few beers and dinner out. As I am usual to do, for special occasions I stay on the safe side and wear “my” colors, so this makeup tutorial is for a burgundy smokey eye and a deep red lips. I hope you enjoy the tutorial and don’t forget to subscribe to my channel so that you don’t miss any future videos.
We’re officially a week into Fall and my hands were itching to do something different makeup-wise. So when Natyra on Instagram (@natyrabeauty) suggested a collaboration themed on Gods and Goddesses, I knew I was in. I have always believed in the power of nature, so I would have picked Mother Nature, but because Fall is my favorite season, I decided to homage it by picking the Goddess of Harvest for this fall makeup look.
