Welcome back to another beauty empties post! I was cleaning up my beauty room and suddenly found a whole bag of empties I had totally forgotten about (bad blogger!) and since I have a few things to say about these products, here we are. As usual there’s more skincare than makeup. Do any of you finish more makeup than skincare? I’m curious.
I feel so accomplished when I finish lots of products, so this is quite a positive post for me. It also seems to go in waves of time when everything finishes at the same time which means I can go shopping again ad try new products.
Joyfulness aside, in this empties post as usual I go through the beauty products I have used intensively and finished in the last period and give mini reviews. You can find the earlier posts of this type here.
Sunday funday with an extra improvised post to share with you my Lipsticks of the Week! This fun tag was started by ItsFranciFra to share the lipsticks we wore during the past week. The #LipsticksOfTheWeek tag has a double use, to enable you readers in buying more lipsticks if you see something you like, and to make sure us lipsticks hoarders are getting a good use from all of our lippies!
Second installment of the most played products of 2016. I started this new format last month (here) to change things up and be part of the #teammostplayed started by Goldenvi0let. This means you will see products I used constantly during the month, but they may not be strictly my favorites.
February was a crazy hectic month since I defended my PhD on the 25th and spent lots of time organizing, freaking out and hugging my family who drove all over here from Italy for the occasion. Looking back I realized there are a few products I used consistently and colors I leaned towards so let’s take a look.
On of the New Year’s resolutions for the blog this year was to bring back the monthly favorite posts, but since I don’t always have new favorites each month, I decided to hop on the bandwagon of Team Most Played and show you the products that I’ve loved and/or used the most during the month. I hope you like this new format and go check out Goldenvi0let, the creator of this idea!
Happy Monday peeps and welcome back to another monthly favorites post. February was a crazy month, lots happened and it literally flew by without me really wrapping my head around it. But let’s get into all those beauty bits I have loved and used the most this month.
When I frist saw the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils come out, they ended up on my wishlist immedeiately, but due to their slightly high price, they never made it into my shopping bag. To be honest, 25$ for a lip product is way over my budget. So you can imagine how excited I was at seeing the new Maybelline Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencils on the stands a few weeks ago and curious to see if they had come out with a dupe.
