Together with Spring and good weather it is time to start thinking more of what our beloved friend sun does to our skin. Especially this early in the year, the Earth is closer to the sun and the chance of burning your skin is higher.
In winter I usually use a moisturizer or BB cream with SPF 15 or 20 in it, but now it is time to introduce in my morning routine a specific product that will protect my skin during the hours I am exposed to the sun (which aren’t many anyways unfortunately). I recently got to know the Soleil Protexion + by Roc which is a “2 in 1 mattifying fluid SPF 30 that combines the expertise of high sun protection with a specific skin care technology to visibly reduce excess sebum. It offers skin sun protection and a fresh, mattified complexion”. This cream contains UVA and UVB filters and mattifying micro-sponges and can be even used instead of the daily moisturizer.
Amazing right? You get a moisturizer, SPF cream AND a mattifying primer in one product, one step! I had to give it a go!
It had quite a thick consistency at first but sinks into the skin quite fast without leaving any white residue of sorts. Regarding the mattifying power, I have to say I did see a difference in my usual mid-day shine, it was definitely reduced and my usual powder touch up step was postponed for a good couple of hours.
Overall a very good product that I am happy I picked up!
You can find it in Kruidvat for around 18 euros (with 50% off this week).
Are you using SPF in your regular routine? Do you have a separate product or have an all-in-one product to recommend?
