Skin Care Monday: a weekend evening pamper

My weekend pamper skincare essentials
Welcome back to Skincare Monday!
During this long weekend I had a few hours at home to spend and decided to treat myself to an at home facial and want to share with you guys the products I love to use.
First of all I take care of cleansing my skin completely and start with The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter (review here), rubbing it into the skin and giving my face a nice massage for a good minute or two and then removing it with a warm damp muslin cloth. This step also helps to open up the pores thanks to the hot water I damp it with and gives a first exfoliation.
I continue cleansing with a skin-type specific product that targets my combination-oily skin and combat the terrible deep bumps I get on my chin. For this step I finally found the perfect cleanser in the La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel for oily sensitive skin. After trying a sample I had to pick up the full size because my skin has cleared out very well after only a week. Love it! It doesn’t strip the skin of moisture and doesn’t leave the skin tight, altogether giving a deep cleanse.
Once my skin is squeaky clean, I go on to a scrub and the one I’ve been using lately is the IOMA 5 Gentle Exfoliating Emulsion (here). This is a brand that has only recently launched in The Netherlands and offers personalized skin analysis to give each customer the skincare they need. I was suggested this exfoliator because it has small round silicon beads (instead of rough salt or sugar) and therefore is more effective at deep cleansing pores as well as much to remove dead cells.
I finish this stage with the La Roche Posay Effaclar Micro-exfoliating Pore refining Toner on my t-zone and chin to help fade out the scars of old pimples and clean out the pores even more (see a pattern here?).
Time for masks then and I start with De Tuinen Groene Klei Mask (review here) applied on my t-zone and chin to draw out impurities. I leave it on for 15 minutes or until it’s dry and remove with hot water. Then I take care of putting some moisture back in the skin with the The Body Shop Vitamin E Sink-in Moisture Mask (also here). After 10 minutes I take a tissue and blot the excess off. Then I spritz some of the La Roche Posay Eau Thermale all over my face. This is the thermal water that is the base of all their skin care range and can be sprayed directly on the skin for a hydrating and calming effect.
Once that is dry I apply The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-oil (review here) all over the face since it makes sure my skin gets the necessary nourishment overnight. I can’t praise it enough!
Finally time for eye cream and moisturizer before heading to the couch for a good movie.
I do this routine once a week to try to keep my skin as clear and glowing as possible. I am quite happy with the products I am using and I am thinking of introducing a microdermabrasion treatment and I am still looking for a good eye cream.
Any suggestions?
