TAG: Products I love and repurchase

tag i prodotti che amo

Laura Ilmiobeauty (here) tagged me to respond to this tag started by Biancaneve Makeup and Noemi of Parola di Deirdre and share those products I love so much that I keep repurchasing them over and over again. In their posts you can find a product in each of the five chosen beauty categories that they keep repurchasing and love. That said, I totally failed at keeping it to one product per category, the worst one being makeup and skincare. I hope you don’t mind I have so many ride or die products.

First category is Bodycare, and to start I have only one product that has always been present in my bathroom and gym bag for the past three to four years, the Dove Summer Glow Nourishing Lotion. It is my perfect gradual tanner that keeps me from looking like a mozzarella in this hopeless dutch weather and adult life (bye bye 4 months a year at the beach).
Facial Skincare is richer category because as a blogger I love to try out new products and look for the perfect products to take care and balance my skin. A successful discovery on 2015 was the Biofficina Toscana Purifying Facial Serum, a very lightweight serum for combination and oily skin that my skin just loves. I use this every morning and am almost through my second bottle, with the third one already in my drawer. The other two repurchases that have come up multiple times in empties posts (here and here) are The Body Shop Camomile Silky Oil Cleanser and the Garnier Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. Both of them are affordable and do their job outstandigly well.
Haircare is a work in progress for me. Up to October 2015 I swore by the Revlon Professional Nutri Color Creme and bought around 4 bottles of the. It kept my hair color vibrant by adding pigment at each application and acting as an instant mask since I left it on 3-5 minutes in the shower. Then Joico happened. Thanks to Francesca Being Cute is not a Crime I became a Lumishine har color model for them and dicovered that their red hair color doesn’t fade and I didn’t need to use the Revlon Color Creme anymore. I also got to discover their hair care line and fell head-over-heels for all their products but specifically for the Joico K-Pak Intensive Hydrator. It is the most luscious and nourishing conditioner I ever tried. My hair is happy and I never want to use anything else than Joico.
When it comes to nails, I have been biting my nails again in the past year, after more than 10 years of not doing it. I guess all the stress and boredom of writing a thesis triggered this disorder in me again and I have been fighting it with the Kiko Stop Biting Bitter Taste Nail Lacquer (review here), and trying to grow my nails out again with the Kiko Ultra Long Post Stress Treatment Base Coat. These two bases have been pretty much the only two constants in my nail care routine and i have a backup of both.

Finally for the makeup category, it is the one I try the most products for and have found some of my all time favorites that I keep repurchasing. Starting from the base, you can see in the picture I have three of the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. I had to stock up from the UK since it went out of stock here in The Netherlands and I couldn’t do my makeup without it, until recently (spoiler alert!!). I also stocked up on the E.l.f. Eyelid Primer in a recent haul (here) because it seems to be the only eyeshadow primer that lasts on my oily lids, the only one! Another firm favorite ever since I first tried it is the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. I have purchased my third tube recently and cannot imagine using any other mascara. For brows, my favorite method is to use the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade, but it takes a lot of time, so I often opt to use a brow pencil instead and my favorite is the Kiko Precision Eyebrow Pencil, of which I have three in use (makeup bag, gym bag and a lighter color) and a spare in the drawer. Love it! Finally a recent repurchase is the Inglot AMC Gel Liner n.77. This black gel liner changed my winged liner game and I have a backup ready for when I’ll finish this open pot.

So here’s all the products I love, have and will repurchase in the future since they are the core of my beauty routines for body, face, hair, nails and makeup. Now time to tag some lovely ladies:

Giulia – Glitters For Breakfast

Mary – She is Mary

Fran – Being Cute is not a Crime

and of course anyone of you who wants to answer the tag, I tag you all!
