Lethal Cosmetics Awakening collection is their latest release for Spring/Summer 2019. I have been a fan of the brand since my first order with them in 2018, and you can read my review of their shadows and more information on the brand in this article here. With the new release I bought another 14 shades and will present here Lethal Cosmetics Awakening eyeshadow swatches as well as comparisons with other shades in their lineup.
Lethal Cosmetics Awakening collection swatches
The Lethal Cosmetics Awakening collection consists of eight bright colored eyeshadows, of which 4 mattes and 4 metallics. The color scheme is very in tune with spring and summer, with sunny yellows, greens, blues and purples. Overall I think it is a brilliant choice of colors for the season, and they have nailed their other seasonal releases as well, as we have seen with the fall 2018 Hive collection.
Lethal Cosmetics eyeshadow swatch comparisons
In this latest release, Lethal Cosmetics added some very necessary and on trend shades, as well as variations on shades they already have, let’s take a look here.
Lethal Cosmetics blue eyeshadows
Aerial and Petrichor are two new shadows in the Lethal Cosmetics Awakening collection, and as you see they fit seamlessly in the collection of blue eyeshadows already present in the line. Aerial is the metallic counterpart of Remedy, and is more blue than Venom. Petrichor is a beautiful medium matte teal, great to blend Aether, one of their bestsellers.
Lethal Cosmetics green eyeshadows
ou all know how passionate I am about green eyeshadows, and if you don’t, I’d suggest checking out my one month of green content over on my Youtube channel which included green single eyeshadow collection and green eyeshadow palette collections, nail polishes and makeup tutorials.
Getting back to the post, it is no surprise that I have purchased every green eyeshadow that Lethal Cosmetics makes. The new eyeshadow Void is a cool toned pastel matte that is complimentary to their more yellow toned matte Relapse.
The new yellow pastel matte eyeshadow Helios is a warm canary yellow that makes the most beautiful transition shade for the gold and greens, as well as coral eyeshadows. Check out the looks below, you can find more on my Instagram page @alicesbeautymadness.
Lethal Cosmetics Yellow and Coral eyeshadows
Yellows were definitely missing from Lethal Cosmetics’ line up and they filled the void with two gorgeous shades. Equinox is a warm golden metallinc, those shades that invoke images of sunny days and warm fireplaces, perfect for all seasons. As mentioned above Helios, named after the Sun itself, is a beautiful and pigmented pastel that was missing in my collection too.
The new coral shade, Echo, is an intense metallic eyeshadow, with duochrome orange and pink shifts that I didn’t manage to capture on camera unfortunately.
So there you have it, the new Lethal Cosmetics Awakening collection swatches and comparisons. You can hear more about the shadows and a review in my dedicated Youtube video below.
