Oh dear, I’m back with another post. Can you believe it? two in a week. Jokes aside, I’m here today to talk to you about how I (and many others) take advantage of my spending addiction to save a little money here and there. I was contacted by TopCashBack to try out their service and boy was it the perfect timing. I went on a crazy shopping spree online for my birthday and managed to set aside some pretty penny from it too.
Feeling beautiful while working from home
Even if nobody sees you, does’t mean you can’t treat yourself to feel beautiful. With this in mind, in this post we are going over a beauty routine for the women who stay at home.
Smile brilliant at home Teeth Whitening system review and giveaway
Since I started my Youtube channel, I have suddenly been aware and a bit concerned with the color of my teeth. I guess looking at my face while editing really made me self-conscious about the fact that my teeth aren’t really the whitest. So when I was asked to test and review the Smile Brilliant at home teeth whitening system, I was super excited to have this chance.
The Book Edit #1 – Audible review
I have always been a book-worm and there are some books I have been reading recently that I want to share with you guys. It’s not beauty, but it is a huge part of my life that I wanted to share with you guys. Welcome to the first book edit, where I introduce Audible and give you my Audible review, information, tips and tricks.
Rediscovering the blogging world
Last summer I accepted a request that was for me more of a challenge: I made my first Youtube video. It started on request from some girls in a makeup group (Armocromia – Rossetto e Merletto) to do a tutorial on the makeup looks I was posting to help less expert girls to achieve the looks. Well since then Youtube has now become my main focus and I have just realized how I lost contact with blogging ever since.
An American Tale Part 2: Autumn in Ann Arbor
It’s the beginning of December, Thanksgiving is behind us and so is Fall, a season I never thought I would love so much as this year. If you are new around here you can catch up on our American Tale here. Since our last post, a lot has happened among which we moved into our new apartment, I got into photography and took a course. So this post is going to be long and filled with images. I hope you enjoy this small throwback to our Autumn in Ann Arbor.
Pumpkin Spice Everything – #FallInLoveTAG2 ep.4 – Tea and biscuits
Welcome back to the blog and another episode of the #FallInLoveTAG2 by Marta from Caffelatte for Breakfast. It’s November and the weather is changing for the worst, so this time we are talking about those rituals for a rainy Sunday afternoon in this episode called Tea & Biscuits.
I am a big tea lover and you saw my essential blankie in the first episode of this Fall tag here. However, one of the biggest discoveries in this fall season in the US is pumpkin spices! I picked up my first tub in September to make a classic pumpkin pie and have been using them almost everyday since!
Fall Favorites – #FallInLoveTag2 Ep.1 – Evergreen
As usually I’m late for the bus, but here is my first installment of the #FallInLoveTAG2 (intro here), created by the lovely Marta from Caffe Latte For Breakfast. I’m so happy to join this year as well (read last year’s posts here), because I love Fall and I love the prompts that Marta comes up with! Well the first episode of this year’s tag is Evergreen: we’re talking about our Fall favorites when it comes to makeup and fashion. We’re talking about the pieces that you can’t live without for the season. Let’s get into it!
September Beauty Favorites 2016
October is here, which means my birthday is close and it is time for my September Beauty Favorites. This month has been quite an intense one with the move overseas and finding an apartment and some sort of normality out here. Nevertheless new experiences, friendships and beauty discoveries were made, so let’s take a look at the makeup I have been loving this month.
First experience in the US – An American Tale #1
Ready to finally move into our apartment, I wanted to sit down and tell you of our experience in our first two weeks in the US. As you may have read in previous posts (here, here), in April we got the news that we were moving to Michigan for a great work opportunity for my man. Excitement is the right way to describe our first reaction, which included happiness, fear and sadness. But fast forward to the end of August, we’re standing at the airport in Amsterdam with 90 kg of our lives in the suitcases on our way to Detroit.
