Are you surprised that I couldn’t resist an all-matte single shadow collection? Somehow I’m not ghghg. When Nabla announced that they were coming out with a new collection of eyeshadow refills and they were all matte, I got butterflies in my stomach and giggled in a silly way. I am an eyeshadow refill collector and matte eyeshadows are my passion since I have hooded eyes. So of course I snagged up the full Nabla Matte Collection off of nablacosmetics.com and here are my review and swatches.
Here we are with another dupes post. I somehow like to do these on the blog rather than Youtube. As always I really appreciate your input as I struggle to find a semblance of balance between content on the blog, Youtube and Instagram. But coming to the point of this post, I am here to bring you some Urban Decay Born to Run dupes.
Well by now we all know that I didn’t resist and bought the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Vault collection at launch. Of course I had to compare the dupes I found when trying to convince myself I didn’t need the palettes, with the actual palettes. So here are my Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Vault dupes in retrospect.
The launch of the new Mulac Brave Collection on July 25th 2018 did not go down very well with very slow processing times and a lot of customers receiving broken palettes. I am one of them. I went off on a rant about what happened on my Youtube channel, but here I want to let the drama aside and just focus on the Mulac Brave Collection swatches and review.
My friends and fellow makeup lovers, I need your help! As I usually do, I went to my single eyeshadow collection to look for Morphe x Jaclyn Hill vault dupes. Now I did find some good alternatives, but I am still incredibly tempted at buying the vault when it launches tomorrow. Please help me!
Do you know the feeling when there is that one shade you think makes a palette totally worth it? Do you know that voice in your head saying “it’s only 20€, get it!”. Well that’s how I ended up buying the Zoeva Café palette: low price tag and a lime green shade. So since I bought it and used it, how about writing a review and showing you some swatches. I thought it was the perfect content to go up on the blog, separately from Youtube, so let’s get into the Zoeva Cafe palette review and swatches.
Buying base products like foundation and concealer online is super hard so in occasion of the launch of the new Nabla Close Up concealer, I wanted to share a comprehensive comparison of all the concealers I own. So here we are with my concealer swatch comparisons, which doubles as my concealer collection.
I got many questions on the Makeup Geek damaged eyeshadow, and since I just made a few orders, let’s talk about them. Makeup Geek has been periodically releasing damaged stock on their website at a heavy discount, usually 50% off. I have been purchasing from these sales since the beginning because I have only had the best experience. The latest damaged sale was at the beginning of July and I got my hands on lots of shades I was missing in my Makeup Geek collection.
Ah, new palette releases are the toughest times for me (my wallet actually). When Norvina announced the launch of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina palette, my heart skipped a beat, my palms got sweaty, all the symptoms. I own all the current permanent palettes by Anastasia Beverly Hills: Modern Renaissance, Subculture, Prism, Soft Glam, so naturally I wanted to pick up the Norvina palette to complete my collection. Then I went to instagram stories to ask you guys, and my brilliant friend CynthiaIsKillikill took the ham off my eyes (it’s an Italian saying, everything looks better through prosciutto). So I dove into my eyeshadow collection looking for shades that would be Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina palette dupes and went off to wear purple eyeshadow for a few days. It was a process, it was a revelation, read on for what came out.
Let the makeup declutter continue! This is the fifth episode of the decluttering series and I’m going over my eyeshadow palettes and singles. Can you predict how this went? Don’t forget to check out the other episodes of my 2017 decluttering adventure here.
