Welcome to a new mini series here on the blog: A Shifting Journey. This series wants to introduce the beauty and versatility of shifting micas and their applications. The first episode is dedicated to Travel to Earth.
Since you liked the Anti Hauls so far, I thought I’d do the opposite video and share with your the makeup I would buy if I had an infinite makeup budget! I called it the Fantasy haul, kind of like fantasy football, and this is a special Valentine’s Day gift guide edition.
Working from home, I mostly to my makeup for fun, to film, to post and to go out. This means that I’m either bare faced or I’m in full glam by lunch time just to go to the grocery store hahaha. Well I saw this tag on Youtube called Instagram vs Real Life Makeup and I thought it was a good way to remind myself and you guys how different Instagram makeup is from every day real life one.
Here we are for Part 2 of my 2016 makeup favorites. In Part 1 I told you all about my favorite products for the base and the face so now let’s take a look to eyes and lips. As I mentioned before, on the Youtube channel I split my favorites between Italian and other makeup, but on the blog I divided it by product type. So lets take a look at my favorite eye and lip makeup.
Gold Gold Gold! I’ve had this post in mind for a long time, since a friend asked a comparison between different gold eyeshadows I had. I took pictures and they all sat in my laptop until I came across this video by the gorgeous Elsa of Like a Candy Shop. She shared all of her favorite peach-colored makeup and it pushed me to take out the idea from the drawer. Well good news is that instead of only my favorite gold makeup products, Elsa has agreed to collaborate and share her favorites as well.
Exciting exciting exciting days those after a big sale event Black Friday. Packages arrive every day and it feels like Christmas! After flooding the blogosphere with discounts and sneak peeks on my Facebook page and here on the blog, did you think I could resist the sales myself? Of course not, so I did some (very responsible) shopping online and my packages are all finally in. Of course I didn’t shop only for myself but also for all of you guys and this giveaway. With the holidays coming up, I felt that it was time to give back to all of you who read my blog, chat with me on social media and watch me babble on Youtube.
Then you find yourself sitting at your vanity at the beginning of December scavenging for favorites in you makeup stash, bad blogger! Anyway, welcome to my November Beauty Favorites!
Oh I am so behind on this series, I apologize. We are now on the third palette for my #OnePaletteOneWeek challenge as a part of the #100DaysOfMakeup challenge I’m doing and we’re talking about the gorgeous Lime Crime Venus II palette. If you’re new around here, in this series I wear only one eyeshadow palette for a whole week and try to come up with different looks each time. This allows me to push myself to be creative and at the same time give more love to all the eyeshadows in my collection. To catch up on the other episodes, click here.
I’m a bit late to the game but here are my October beauty favorites! I had a great month with my birthday on the 14th and lots of makeup to play with.
I have a lot of makeup, and a lot of eyeshadows for that matter. I know, shocking huh? Well, to make sure all my eyeshadows get some good use, I decided to start the #OnePaletteOneWeek challenge. Ok, it’s not an official challenge, but I want to challenge myself to change it up a bit and stop wearing always my same 10 Makeup Geek eyeshadows all the time. So since last week I decided I am going to use only one eyeshadow palette for one whole week and try to vary the eye looks as much as I can.
The first palette I picked for this challenge is the stunning Lime Crime Venus 1 palette which I showed you in my latest haul (here). Ok, not so adventurous you’ll say, colors you always wear Alice. That’s very true, but I wanted to ease myself into it. The palette is absolutely stunning and after wearing it for a week every day, I also have a mini review at the end of this post.
